PM Community.org (pmCommunity.org) is not well known to the public...by design. We are not a full marketing organization. We do no advertising. We sell nothing. We have no clients.
There is no other "Marketing" organization that is so focused on the Supply Chain that fills the needs of the Small & Midsize Business (SMB) space in transition. (Obviously, this relates to small companies, invariably privately-owned with annual revenues up to $50 million ... whenever they need to "change.")
pmCommunity.org does not serve SMB directly. (Remember, we have no clients!) We offer specialty marketing services to SMB advisors, more specifically, "Trusted Advisors" who are client-centric and want to help their clients even when (perhaps especially when) needs lie outside of their field of expertise. WHY? Often, a private SMB can be subject to services of less-than what they [truly] need. To ensure this doesn't happen--and preclude a bad actor or someone with less talent (read: potential harm)--a Trusted Advisor would step forward to help her/his client to get the VERY BEST talent available ... without cost or delay. Enter pmCommunity.org membership.
Local Trusted Advisors can simply & easily process the needs of her/his client ANONYMOUSLY through a proprietary system called Local Channel Marketing (identity is not divulged to ensure confidentiality). Then wait for the result of a diligent search to come back. There is no premature contacting anyone or hoping that the client finds the right service provider. Completely behind-the-scenes pmCommunity staffs work feverously to process, synthesize, search (internally) existing members, research externally, match and cross-match (need/supply) until ultimately, the perfect service provider(s) are isolated & available.
The public is totally unaware of anything happening. This includes competition and even employees--everyone is in the dark! Confidentiality cannot be breached! WHY? Because only the demand is met with supply and never personalities (identities) throughout the process.
The off-shoot of using the Local Channel Marketing(tm) program is that the initial Trusted Advisor submitting the need stays in the loop. In fact, she/he controls the action since this is a true peer-to-peer matter. The initiator is the (demand) referrer and the target skillset/requisite talented provider (supply) is the receiver. But, only if the referrer is satisfied that the match is right. Assuming there is agreement (to collaborate), the initiating referrer discloses details with the identity to her/his cross-discipline receiver.
Member-to-Member processing isn't new just the framework and program that allows positioning to move into netweaving that finally moves to rainmaking.
This overview doesn't completely explain pmCommunity's marketing program, but hopefully will stimulate Trusted Advisors to find out more.
