Privacy Scope
We keep everything confidential and never sell or share any information with anyone.
All information collected is used for the exclusive purpose of helping members to better serve
their clients by more easily connecting with each other on an as-needed, when-needed basis
… and always just-in-time.
Collection
We collect enough information to accomplish the scope and purpose described above.
Use
We use the information in the manner described above.
Disclosure
No one outside of our closed community gets to see any information for any purpose at any time,
except law enforcement or government officials under court order … and then, they get as little
as possible and as much as necessary to fulfill their needs.
Your privacy remains in tact to the best of our ability … always!
Kindly note that we do not divulge your identity to anyone, even other members! Notable exceptions: County Coordinators and State Directors on a need-to-know basis to help particular members netweave (bond with each other). This privilege belongs exclusively to our individual members—if/when the situation & circumstance should warrant it. From time to time, we may do announcements to members on behalf of a value-added Affinity Partner--but they never gain access to your identity or your email address--because all such announcements would be made through, and controlled by, our community exclusively.
Cookies
Like badges, we don’t need no stinking cookies. (Webmaster note: a cookie may be used to "turn off" the automatic video shown on our homepage and registration page. So, if you eliminate cookies (often a good practice), you would experience our video plug-ins each new time you visit our website.)
Security
Absolutely. We’re a private (no public allowed), closed community marketing organization. Period.

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms on this website.
All amended terms automatically take effect ten (10) business days after they are first posted.

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO/FOR ALL MEMBER-CANDIDATES ONLY
The following policy pertains to all new member-candidates but primarily to those "unlicensed" professions wherein states do not require licenses and, hence, that profession is unregulated. In fairness to existing PMC members, we reserve the right to "vet" the individual candidate to ensure that she/he meets the requirement standards of the community -- prior to membership acceptance. Note: this policy may be waived by PMC, a State Director or the Membership Director at any time.
----------
Intake Investigation & Vetting Policy
Note: this is a prerequisite to Membership Acceptance unless waived by PMC
PM Community.org (“PMC” or “Community”) has a strict policy requiring member-candidates being examined and investigated to ensure quality of character and good standing within the professional industry and business community wherein she/he serves. This is an important practice because members rely upon other members —especially in the area of potential referrals of their clients.
Accordingly, every candidate is analyzed in the areas of the business background, competence, character/integrity/trustworthiness, with regard for the safety & security of the membership at large. Each candidate authorizes PMC to verify all references, check background data from various sources, including but not limited to, federal, state & county; and where deemed appropriate, vetted to the standards of PMC’s Executive Committee. Members may be subjected to a re-vetting process every three years — at no extra cost to the member — and continuing in five year increments thereafter for as long as they remain active in the Community.
- At time of registration, if a candidate knows that she/he has a professional misconduct or civil/criminal negative finding, she/he is requested to refrain applying for membership until the outcome of any such finding has a final, favorably adjudication. Further, a candidate who refuses to allow a thorough background examination and this vetting process may not join or be allowed to continue as a member.
In the event an active PMC member is ever arrested, she/he must inform Community administration as soon as possible, and no latter than five (5) business days after such event. The matter shall be taken up by PMC’s Executive Committee who alone will render a decision as to the status of continuing membership. At all times, PMC membership may be terminated at the sole discretion of PMC’s Executive Committee, without cause or prior notification.
Candidates are vetted in a manner consistent with professional background checks and typically concern themselves with criminal and business-related intelligence background investigations. The Community uses various internal and external resources to complete examinations. Different professions warrant greater scrutiny than others but, by and large, investigations typically fall to the public records of federal, state, county/municipal or province records as well as to any industry-related reports, findings, promulgations, or other sources deemed relevant. (This said, at no time does this investigation rise to the level of legal "due diligence." All members are encouraged to do their own private investigation as deemed necessary.)
For verification purposes, PMC requires members to prove their identity initially by submitting a copy [do not submit an original] of a valid driving license in the state of current residence, or in the alternative, a passport or other document containing a recent photograph of the candidate that would be acceptable to PMC’s Membership Committee.
As a final point, the entire intake process conducted by and on behalf of PMC is considered highly confidential in nature. Delivered findings are not shared with other parties save for a legal edict or notice to surrender such material under court order.
Each individual is dealt with on a case-by-case basis, that is, there is no automatic acceptance or barring. Candidates cannot be refused for race, sex, religious or civic affiliation, handicap, or any other reason that may violate their civil rights. (FYI—inside our private ORG, we are an equal opportunity employer.)
