Positioning

What We Do is best answered by the three Major Stages of our proprietary marketing system: Local Channel Marketing™

Forest through the Trees? Prospects finding YOU?!

Positioning is the first (and most important) process of Local Channel Marketing.™  It includes diligent screening, reference checking, and intensive vetting if needed—to ensure that each member-candidate meets the high standards of competency and trust demanded by existing members ready to make timely referrals of local clients in immediate need of outsourced services.  A few other points about this leading process are:

  • As the primary process, absolutely nothing else [especially rainmaking] could never happen.
  • It requires transparency, careful analysis, and comprehensive review to determine minimum community standards
  • It mandates the assignment of a Business Relation Manager to determine the proper channel and prioritize matching cues/procedures

Too many consultants start running before they thoroughly know and understand what the real requirements of the clients are (or could be if the "present state" was more carefully studied). Even though PMC is a marketing organization, we always determine what the member's current state is, what are her/his strengths and best opportunities to improve/enhance their business/practice.

After years of painful R&D, Local Channel Marketing™ finally emerged to solve the critical issue of referral marketing between professionals in cross-disciplines.  What was missing were the elements of mutual respect and trust. Peers in different disciplines who know, like and trust each other are colleagues.  Usually though, it takes years and perhaps more than a few experiences with each other to gain such bonding.  PM Community developed a framework and a marketing system that accelerated this maturation period into a very short/tight lifecycle.  By carefully investigating each professional's background and vetting them as needed, the element of trust can be realized when the parties agree to meet high standards.  This is what the PM Community Membership Agreement is all about.

But is respect and trust enough for client-sharing?  Actually, NO!

The element of competency comes into play in a very strong way.   Each (every) member has to demonstrate a track record of performance and show good standing within her/his profession and the community in which she/he does business.  This is why the Community Marketing Agreement is necessary--and of course licensing participation in the Local Channel Marketing™ system.

Now combine the components together and, voila, members have a winning platform where they meet to help each other, without hassle and worry, and even comfortably share clients in need when the opportunity presents itself. All this is thanks to Positioning. Members simply qualify and then become members. PM Community.org does all the rest...almost. Find out what Netweaving is by pressing forward!--------------------------------------------
